The Meet the Researcher guided tour introduces a current topic or important artefacts with the guidance of an expert.

Approximately 45 minutes. Free admission to the exhibitions and the guided tour on every Friday from 4 pm till 6 pm.
SPIRIT OF BUDŌ –THEME DAYS
During the theme days of the Spirit of Budō –exhibition we dive into the Japanese culture and the world of martial arts.

The Helsinki Koto Ensemble performs Minni Ilmonen’s compositions on Japanese poetry. At the end the Japanese koto-instrument will be introduced (in Finnish).

Ki-Ken-Tai-Icchi ry. introduces kendo, jodo, iaido and naginata! The spectators also have a chance to try their skills. In co-operation with the Finnish Kendo Association.
15.00–16.00 Shintō – Japan’s national religion (in Finnish)
Lecture by professor Ilmari Vesterinen.
